Yan Yi Huang's watercolor learning experience:
How amazing! Just using three colors with yellow, red, and blue can make a lot of colors. When my professor showed and taught us how to use those three colors, I was really surprised. I like drawing since I was a child, but I didn’t learn formally. Also, our professor’s spirit of never give up for seeking his dream that encourage me, and I keep it in my mind. Moreover, his students’ pictures were surprising me because some of them they never painted before took class. I couldn’t believe how beautiful pictures they painted. In first class, I learned color-mixing methods and studied how paper react to water and pigments. And I learn watercolor painting techniques of dry-on-dry and wet-on-wet. I had a lot of fun and enjoy when I printed because I was so exciting by creating my ideal color to paint it. Even I spent several hours to paint it, I believer strongly after this semester, my painting skill will improve a lots.
