Raina Mcmahan's watercolor learning experience:
I have enjoyed the watercolor class very much so far. I feel more comfortable with the brushes and the water and am learning how to make both work together. Watercolor is very relaxing, and so far my favorite part has been the homework. When I am at home painting with watercolor, I can just turn some music on and enjoy the quiet of my house while painting with watercolor.

I have also enjoyed the classroom demonstrations. I think nothing helps me more than actually watching someone else do it correctly. To watch the professor with the subtle tricks he uses with the brush brings together the lessons like nothing else has. I can hear that my brushstrokes are wrong, but to see it done right really gives me an idea how I was doing it wrong.

I do see myself continuing watercolor past this class. I am not an art major, but do enjoy my creative side, and now watercolor is just one more creative outlet I will have for the rest of my life.
