Watercolor painting by

Haruka Sauda's watercolor learning experience:
When I was an art class student at my high school, I used watercolor many times. I loved translucent colors on the white paper. However, at that time, I preferred oil painting rather than watercolor because of my way of painting. I usually I mix various kinds of colors together. Therefore, when I used watercolor, gradually my picture lost brightness of colors. I believed that one of differences between oil color and watercolor is way of using whiteness of paper. To leave beautiful whiteness of paper, I had to change my art style but I did want to do it so I just avoided using watercolor.
