Caesar Muwowo's watercolor learning experience:
I finished my first greeting card and I have to say that I like the simplicity of the whole process of coming up with concept of the card. I decide to use the fold fashion because I think those types of cards are conservative and tend to look nice. I used a white border although I added a twist to the whole design which I hope is fine. I used the left side of with a white border while the right side didn’t have a border. I let it bleed to the right. A wanted play around with my creative imagination.

I used the tiger because I like the colors that a picture presents. It helped to blend the different colors into a final product that I have. I am no longer worried about making an error which I did with this piece but did a lot of lifting. My mum likes dogs and cats so it fits in perfectly with mother’s day. I can now add a splash of color to my picture and achieve the watercolor effect.

A simple wash of watercolor can create an interesting background. With this technique I wanted to capture the tiger all grown up but still is reminiscing the time he grow up with his mother.
