Cheryl A Nocera's watercolor learning experience:
On the first art project which as a house during the fall. I did not do so well. First, I did not do the whole picture in a fall setting which was asked of us. I did the background green and we all know that the sky is not green even if it were summer. I did what was suppose to be a tree in autumn colors I blended those colors well. The colors I should of used for the sky I used for the grass. The house did not look like a house either my drawing was off.

I was told to do the project over. I would have to use the colors I used for the lawn in the sky which was a mauve and a fall reddish orange. The house I would have to do a lighter color to blend in with the colors I used for the sky. For the lower part of the painting where leaves should be and the path I would have to use more brown and fall like colors. I would also have to put blue into the sky which I did not. The colors and the drawing would have to make sense and I would have to balance them. In the drawing I did it was not balanced.
