Youngsun Kim's watercolor learning experience:
Ducks painting (Love): Whenever we love each other, we all want to be together. Two docks were facing each other and it seemed to me that it was representing true love. I learned from the critiques that removing distractions behind the main focal point, the two ducks, could make my painting improved. In addition, removing the details of the water wave made my painting more simplified and organized.
Finally, I enjoyed a lot the all the process of my paintings. Interestingly, each time painting different subjects were also lots of fun. As I expressed my heart into the paintings, at the same time, my thought became organized better. Even though our scheduled time in the class is getting closer to end, I am eager to learn and have more fun our time in remaining in the water color class.
