Shineca Jack's watercolor learning experience:
This was the second painting I did for my watercolor class, and I thought this it was pretty good. I chose this painting because it was in black and white and thought it would be easier to paint because there’s only dark and light grey in the picture. It took me about a day to sketch the picture before I started to paint it. Initially I wanted to make a grey color but every time I tested the color it was purple so I decided to go with that color instead.

Painting this picture wasn’t very difficult for me to do, all I had to do was take my time and paint it piece by piece. It took me about three days to complete this painting and I had so much fun doing it. I started painting the chairs first and worked my way to the water and mountains. Showing the details in the mountain such as the trees and buildings were a little harder to do but I managed to pull it off. So finally I did the floor last because it was the easiest, that way I could take the time to enjoy my work even more. Doing this painting made me realized how fun watercolor could be and if I have time in the future then I could see myself doing it in my spare time.
