Shaukia Iftikhar's watercolor learning experience:
The part of this class VMA 123, I really enjoy is when I start drawing I feel relaxing and it give me the piece of mind. When I start water coloring it’s give me the encouragement that I can do it because once I put the color on the paper it makes it own beauty. Prior to this class I did not had any background on water color neither on painting. Throughout this class I learned how to draw the sketches, how to use different tone of color and lighting and how to make shadow. I am still not comfortable making shadow but I am sure by the end of this class I will be able to do that perfectly. I also get the opportunity to see professor Chen making sketches and doing water color on students from the class. He teaches us step by step process of it. I really enjoy coming to this class.
