Fatuma Hassan's watercolor learning experience:
My first experience water coloring could not have been better. I learned that all colors originated from three main simple colors yellow, red and blue. I found a new sense of enjoyment for coloring. I was actually having fun and when it was time to clean up I found myself feeling sad. It reminded me of all the times I declared that it was time to clean up and my three year old would pout and cry. I found myself thinking about going home and painting and I knew I would do just that. In fact I spent two hours exploring and inventing many new colors with my three year old daughter that evening. I think this new found sense of enjoyment has a lot to do with the great teachings of professor Yong Chen. Thanks again.
