Emma Schenstrom's watercolor learning experience:
Of course it would be great if I could use my knowledge in watercolor (or in art overall) in a professional way! Learning to create through art is one of the best things I have ever done! I hope to learn a lot more and develop my skills. To start with I am hoping to find my own style. Ever since I started painting I have thought in the back of my head that I really wish I can find a style that not only fits me, but that identifies me. Further, that thought takes me to a future where my style is being recognized and appreciated by others. And hopefully can help me approach a professional career in it. I am not necessarily talking about a style so specific like Pablo Picasso’s but so that you can see and recognize that it is my work.

If so I would love to have a small gallery, perhaps in Cape Cod or some place similar, where I would show and sell my art from late spring to early fall. The rest of the year I would love to work at a bigger gallery or perhaps a museum. Something else that I have started thinking about lately is working within rehab, helping people by using paint. Another option is to work with graphic design (which is my major) in the advertisement business. I have plenty of options and plenty of dreams for the future – that way perhaps one of them can come true. =)
