Doan Thien Huy Hung's watercolor learning experience:
After the critic last week, I learn so many things in water color class.
- how to compare darker and lighter color, they will help each other, make each other look good.
- shouldn't ignore any detail from reference
- should have value in painting (squint eyes from the far distance)
- don't try to do something different from the observation
- don't focus in 1 point, move eyes around the painting ( about 10 secs)
- focus in where the lighting comes from
- composition: directly express our emotional
- explore the best possibility
- use bigger brush to group the big area
