Weiji Feng's watercolor learning experience:
In November, we had a very good holiday-Thanksgiving. In December, there is no more class in this semester. During the Water Color class, I have enjoyed. From Mr. Chen, I learned how to use the skills on water color such as wet in wet, wet in dry, dry in wet, and so on. In the final part of making greeting card, I learned how to make greeting card and more detail to use the salt to show the snow on the paper. All in all, that gained my experience in painting even though before I took class in drawing in China. Watercolor may be a part of my life. When I was in upset, I liked to paint without any thinking. When I was painting, I have seen my skills improving by my enjoying. After I drew a good painting (I believed), my mood was good. Painting let me calm down when I was in mad. Painting let me to think about my future as my painting skills were improved by steps. When I was enjoyed the painting, 8 hrs may not too long to me to spend in it. To think a bit deep, that is the life part sometimes. Watercolor is one kind of arts. Arts are always around us. Indeed, our lives also are arts. We need to learn about the art from the life or the life from the art. There are many things to connect with both of them. We just need to learn.
