Maggie Deng's watercolor learning experience:
When we were required to make Christmas cards for our families and friends, I had no idea what was I going to make. My professor said, “Don’t always think about the snow, the snow is not the only thing for Christmas cards. You can make some things that your friends or your families like.” Oh, it is a good idea. Choosing some special things can represent special meaning. I started to think about what are my daughter and my son like. When I finished the first card for my daughter, she was so exciting and asked me how could I make it. I showed her the material about the card and I told her I spent several hours to print it. Even she is four years old, she knew the card I printed is the great one than the one I bought outside because I spent my time with my love on it. So I have an idea that I will make Christmas card for my kids every Christmas. It is a good way to teach my kids not only saving money, but also having important meaning.
