Watercolor Painting of a Lemon Part 4
I hope you feel much better by now. We have successfully settled the overall color composition. In this step we will focus on the cast shadow and the lemon.
With the number-14 round brush, I mix yellow and blue to make green. This is the base color for the lemon navel, and I will work more details later after it has dried.
Now I mix a dark color and paint into the area right under the lemon in the cast shadow. Then I use the three-quarter-inch flat brush to mix a brown color and paint into the end part of lemon on the left.
