In the path to my studio, there was a red leaf on the ground. It made me realize that it was already late autumn. I picked it up and painted it to remember the last piece of fall.

I was born and grew up in an old traditional country home in southern China. Our kitchen was only a stove that built with mud and bricks. Often in my dream I still saw the smoke and smelled the rice and fish.
